What a creation!

Matt Ager

It was a delight to see our primary schools Creation Project display fill the Braintree & Witham Times' centre pages recently!

Sheena & Nikki's hard work enabled visitors to Braintree Town Hall to see Creation in the eyes of talented primary school artists. It was quite a sight and a real treat to see it being so well received by the community. We trust that project challenged each young person to consider the meaning of Creation for themselves...and the same for the shoppers who were treated to the display afterwards.

So, what happened "In the beginning...."? Is Genesis' account of six amazing days simply allegorical, or is it to be taken literally? God is so massive, nothing is too big for Him - so, creating the world in six days is really quite feasible and I'm most certainly a Creationist myself.

Countless other Christians are firm believers in other interpretations of creation though, and Amazon shows plenty of books written on the subject....so, what should we believe? We should believe the obvious - GOD DID IT!

God, we thank you for Creation. We thank you for creating us, the Universe and everything in it. We thank you that you are our artist - THE artist - and we thank you for the young people who experienced such an effective project.
