The end of year has arrived! Well, almost...just as soon as I get back from a trip to Berlin with 70 Notley High Yr 10 students.
With the pace of CYO life as it is, it's easy to forget quite how much work has gone on over the past year, so we thought it would be good to get it in black and white. Here are a few stats:
ASSEMBLIES - 300
ANAM CARA - 20 Hours (approximately 500 students)
A-CROSS THE WORLD - 5 schools
MENTORING - over 200 School sessions (approximately 600 hours)
LUNCH CLUBS - over 160
TRIPS - Two (Berlin & Belgium)
So, quite a lot then! It has been a great year of opportunities, anecdotes and surprises...and we can't wait for September.
Please do pray for the CYO team, for them to have a well-earned break over August and to have fresh inspiration for the year ahead. Please do pray also for the thousand of young people in the area who will also be recharging their batteries: pray that they will enjoy the rest, have renewed energy and be faced with fresh opportunities for September.
