So far, so good...

We're almost at the end of our first week hosting GSUS Live. A hiccup at the start of Monday looked like it was going to be a stressful experience with multiple cancellations, but we managed to rectify the fault and reschedule the two missed lessons - the power of prayer at work again!

First created in 1999, the GSUS Live experience has had various rebrands over the years to keep up with the times, but it continues to be an amazing interactive classroom for secondary school students. Choosing one of three character, each struggling with an issue in life, the students work in pairs to offer advice to their character. Throughout their journey, which is all done through touchscreen monitors that electronically rise up from their desks at the start of the lesson, the students see and hear a range of quotes and stories of famous people over history and how they have dealt with the issue in hand. And of course, a wealth of examples are presented from the Bible in a relevant, modern way, showing how Christians believe God helps them deal with their issues today.

We will have taken 20 lessons by tomorrow and seen around 400 students, and then we're off to Hedingham to repeat the exercise next week. Honywood and Notley High will follow that, bringing us to the end of Term, so we ask that you remember us in your prayers over the coming weeks.

Key points to pray for are:

- That there are no further technical issues preventing lessons from taking place

- Transport to each school is seamless, and that there are no complications

- Our volunteers and staff who have given their own time to make this possible - pray for them to be abundantly blessed.

- That all schools will have equally-full timetables

- That every young person who experiences GSUS Live will be challenged to consider what life is all about, and for God to reveal Himself to them in a clear, tangible way.
